The TreeClix Specialist Program is an 8-week online program for saddle fitters who want to deepen their understanding of saddle fit and working with TreeClix. It is not just about how to make an adjustment, but above all about what you see, what a change tells you, and how different factors are connected.
You will learn to look more closely at the horse, rider, and saddle and better assess where a problem may be coming from. Not every imbalance requires an adjustment to the tree width, and not every response has the same cause.
The theory is directly connected to your own work. During the program, you will work on assignments and cases from your own consultations, helping you learn to observe, test, and compare changes more consciously.
The better you understand what you see, the more precisely you can determine what the next step should be.
The name TreeClix Specialist Program actually doesn’t do this course justice. The course is incredibly comprehensive and in-depth, unlike anything I have seen or experienced in any other training program. Even for me, as a more experienced saddle fitter, there are those familiar “AHA” moments! It really is a must-have for every saddle fitter who takes their profession seriously.

During the TreeClix Specialist Program, you will explore the factors that influence saddle fit in greater depth and learn to assess how they relate to one another.
Understand how a horse’s body works and changes, and how the right saddle can support correct movement.
You will explore saddle design, tree shape, tree width, balance, and panels in greater depth, and learn to better recognise how these elements influence each other and the horse.
What information can you objectively gather during a consultation? Discover how to measure crucial data such as twist width, the required tree point length, and other important aspects. You will learn to systematically test and compare changes.
Understand how you, as a saddle fitter, can make a difference by focusing on the four key aspects of saddle fitting.
A saddle does not exist in isolation on a stationary horse. Learn more about the interaction between these three elements and understand where your responsibility as a saddle fitter begins and ends.
You will use TreeClix to test different settings and explore what the response to a change can tell you. You will also work with practical cases and situations where the solution is not always straightforward.
The focus is not on following a fixed step-by-step approach, but on better understanding what you see and why you make a certain choice.
Each week, a new module will be available, combining theory, video tutorials, assignments, and practical examples.
You work through the course material and assignments at times that fit your own work schedule.
You apply what you learn directly during your own saddle fitting consultations and work with situations you encounter in your own practice.
Every two weeks, the whole group meets online to discuss experiences and practical cases and explore the topics in greater depth.
This way, it doesn’t remain just theory: throughout the program, you apply what you learn directly in your own work.
After eight weeks, you will not only have gained new knowledge, but also applied it to cases from your own practice. Once you successfully complete the program, you may call yourself a TreeClix Specialist.
The TSP is not a requirement for working with TreeClix, but the Specialist logo shows that, in addition to working with the system, you have also completed the advanced training program.
You will receive a TreeClix Specialist certificate and be listed as a TreeClix Specialist in our store locator.
This also allows riders to see that you have completed this additional advanced training.
I find the online learning environment very well designed, clear and easy to navigate. You are also very accessible for any questions and support throughout the program.

Good to know
During the TSP, you will work with TreeClix in practice. Therefore, make sure you have enough TreeClix products in stock at the start of the program to complete the assignments.
